What are the new student requirements?
- Possess a valid Texas driver’s license, social security card, birth certificate, and high school diploma or GED. If you do not have a diploma or GED, we will administer a standardized test in its place.
- If applicable: green card and/or passport.
- Be able to pass a DOT physical exam and drug test at our approved clinic.
Where are you located and can I take the class portion online?
Reverse Training Program is conveniently located in Central northeast Austin on Decker Lane in 78724. All trainings are in person at this time.
What is the program duration?
The program typically lasts 6 weeks or less, depending on your progress and attendance.
What are your hours of operation?
Office Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Class Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm.
How do I apply for the CDL Training Program?
You’ll start by completing the online application for our CDL training program. We’ll let you know once online enrollment opens.
When enrollment is open, you’ll complete two quick steps — both right here on this site:

Once we’ve received your payment and registration, your spot will be reserved, and a representative will contact you by phone or email with your next steps.
When do classes start?
Weekday classes start on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Monday of each month.
Do you offer job assistance?
Reverse Training Program is committed to supporting every student with job placement assistance, both during enrollment and after graduation. Our graduates are welcome to reach out to us at any time for guidance and support in securing employment.
While no school can guarantee employment, we guarantee our full effort in preparing and assisting you throughout the process. We are proud to partner with leading trucking companies across the state and work closely with citywide and statewide recruiters who are ready to connect our students with opportunities.
